Q) Going into the WJC how did you expect Canada to perform?

A) I expected Canada to perform very well after their dismal performance in last year’s tournament

 

Q) Did Canada live up to your expectations?

A) Yes, they performed very well in group play going three and one, however, their goaltending was average at best

 

Q) Did you expect Canada to win gold against the USA?

A) No, the USA had a great team and had reliable goaltending which Canada did not have

 

Q) Why did Canada give up two 2 goal reads in the gold medal game?

A) They got overconfident and they gave the U.S momentum a lot too.

 

Q) Now that the WJC are done do you expect a Canadian to go first overall?

A) I believe Nolan Patrick will be selected 1st overall he’s highly skilled and is a good shooter: helpful on offence.
